What’s it about
We believe that we as ECONs, compared to other countries and groups in our society, have come reasonably well through current COVID-19 crisis (e.g. no income losses, excellent health system, young age leading to light symptoms, ...). However, no all of us are as fortunate as we are. We must also consider people in poverty, homeless or elderlies not being able to see their relatives.
Therefore, we encourage you to join us and support others in need through these difficult times. Every contribution counts, especially because ECON will double the amount up to 1.000€ - many thanks in advance!

The donations for the Corona Emergency Aid Fund are intended to support volunteers and important relief efforts. Numerous volunteers are involved, for example, in helping the elderly and needy, organizing food delivery services, supporting nursing staff and residents in old people's homes and providing psycho-social care.
"In these extremely difficult times, it is particularly important that no one is left alone," said Gerda Hasselfeldt, President of the German Red Cross.
With more than 435,000 volunteers nationwide and around 175,000 full-time employees, the German Red Cross is well positioned to help people in need.
