“ Dear Moe, you are simply one of the purest girls in the world, so pure, innocent and warm-hearted. It is people like you who bring warmth to this world and embodies the human spirit of kindness and compassion. I remember when I first met you, I was starstruck by the purity and kindness of your eyes which struck me like a gazillion electrocyte, electrocuting me. I felt electrocuted and starstruck by your pureness. Mother Teresa and Mother Mary will be so proud of you. You're like the Burmese version of these two great legendary women. Sometimes, I think you are actually the love child of Mother Teresa. You are my stars and gutters, my cheese pie, apple pie, chicken pie, mushroom pie all combined into the delicious yummy angelic pure pie. There is nothing more than I want to say thank you to you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for Mudita Foundation. It is a privilege and blessing to stay with you at the monastery, albeit for just 4 days. In that 4 days, I can see so much pureness in everyone’s eyes. If there is a land of pureness, this school has to be the purest place in Myanmar. It is truly an awesome world with so many beautiful people from people of all walk of life, from all types of ages. It was just so lovely to meet such pure people like you who are cut off from Western liberalism and mainstream news media. Even though the children don’t come from a privileged background, the true happiness and joy in their faces makes up for everything. What I also love about the school is the fact both genders understand their roles well. The girls in spite of their incredibly tender young age, are already so feminine and they cook and prepare the meals in the kitchen while the boys cut the trees and do hard labour work. I hope that you as the secretary of the boss and the leader of this organization will continue to keep this Asian tradition. One thing that struck me even after long leaving this school, the students still continue to keep in touch with me. Aung Thaung one of the students if I remember his name correctly, I don’t even remember even meeting him in the 4 days when I was there, yet he constantly kept in touch with me, video-calling me on messenger and sending me sweet and lovely messages. There was one time when I was on the bus on the way home from work and I have had a bad day in the office, he was encouraging me and cheering me up. Just so pure. I wish I can do so much more for the kids there. If I have a time machine, I’d definitely rewind back time and spent at least a week more at the school. Last but not least, I’d like to send my love and blessings to you and everyone in this holiday festive season. I wish you a Happy Belated Birthday for the 4 December and a million wishes to you, your family and everyone in the school. ”

What’s it about

Hi my name is Moe. I am a teacher and trainer in the Mudita School. I am also the secretary of the founder Bhante Mokkhita, together we organise the school. I work for the Mudita Foundation since the beginning in 2016. We have 250 children living and studding here in the center.

During the last 3 years we have improved the school tremendously but the kitchen and dining hall are still in poor condition. The roof is leaking water and dust is falling from the old sealing. The concrete floor is broken, our sink is made from wood, the drainage gets often blocked... so we are unable to keep the area clean and hygiene which causes food poisonings for the kids, teachers and volunteers.

In January we are planning to build a new kitchen but we still need funding to renovate the dining hall.

We need:
  • New roof panels, Bamboos for the sealing
  • Concrete bags, Aggregate for a new floor
  • Bricks and tiels for a new hygiene sink
  • Cooking area
  • New draining system
  • Salary for the worker team

For the renovation of the dining hall we need around 1.500 Euro

Thank you for your support! Every Euro counts 😊
