KÄLTEBUS für Wohnungslose

Das CRO People Project möchte mit Ihnen, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, gemeinsam über diese Advents-Spendenaktion einen KÄLTEBUS mitfinanzieren. Mit einem solchen Bus leistet die Berliner Stadtmission direkte Hilfe für wohnungslose Menschen, damit diese in der Winterzeit nicht auf der Straße erfrieren müssen.

Unter einer Hotline können besorgte Mitmenschen nachts Wohnungslose melden, die der Gefahr ausgesetzt sind zu erfrieren. Der Kältebus fährt dann umgehend zu den Betroffenen, leistet direkte Hilfe, spendet warme Speisen und Getränke und bietet ihnen an, in eine warme Notunterkunft gefahren zu werden.

Jede Spende hilft, dass die Kältebusse (es gibt drei) weiterhin für Menschen in Not unterwegs sein können.

Natürlich bekommt jeder Spender Anfang nächsten Jahres eine Spendenbescheinigung (über betterplace.org).

With this advent fundraiser, the CRO People Project would like to support the Berlin City Mission’s SHELTER BUS for the homeless, to help protect people on the street from freezing to death during the cold winter months.

The City of Berlin gives citizens the possibility to call a hotline to report homeless people on the street, who they believe require immediate attention and/or who may be unable to recognize themselves the dangers of a cold winter night, which in a worst-case scenario may lead to death.

The Shelter Bus immediately drives to the homeless persons, provides them with warm food and drinks, and offers to drive them to a shelter where they can stay overnight in a warm and protected accommodation.

Every donation helps that the Shelter Buses (there are three) can continue to be on the road for People in Need.

Of course, every donor will receive a donation receipt at the beginning of next year (via betterplace.org).
