What’s it about
Dear friends, colleagues, sympathisers…
I am going on a cycle trip across Crete where I will be pushing my limits for a cause that I care a great deal about. Suzanne Eaton was brutally attacked and killed while running on the island of Crete in July 2019 when she was deliberately run over by a car leaving her paralysed, after which she was raped and thrown down a ventilation shaft of a cave where she suffered a slow, lonely and a painful death.

Suzanne was an acclaimed scientist who had with her personality and intellect enriched the scientific community with her interdisciplinary skills. In Mrs. Eaton's honour and in support of her legacy the Austrian Institute of Molecular Biotechnology has initiated a memorial fund which aims to support the endeavours of young scientists in interdisciplinary topics as their discoveries are beneficial for all of humanity in treating illnesses.
I hope I make a compelling case for the fund and that you will support my fundraising.
Thank you for your contribution, every donation counts!
