What’s it about
New News: The European 5000 Rally was canceled given too many areas with heavy Corona outbreaks, the second wave has caught Spain and France heavily. Since it is not prudent to rally through that, the organizer had cancel the Rally. Instead.. we are now doing the Deutschland Rally, 8 days, 3000 km, start is October 3rd. The donations will continue to be collected for the same purpose. Thank you for helping Corona affected kids.
News: Thank you Mike H donating $1000 or 860 Euro for our rally directly to 'save the children'!
Doing good together:
We are 3 woman who will drive the European Superlative Adventure Club rally as Team 62, TheElkies: 5000km through 10 countries in 13 days with a 22 year old car, no highways and no GPS.
This is the first time we are doing such an adventure and we are certain that it will be incredible and something we will never forget. At the same time, we want to help others and so we are fundraising in multiple ways for 2 charities. Here we are inviting you to donate for Save the Children - the global Corona support activity which was launched given the the current challenges („Weltweite Corona Nothilfe / Save the Children“). It is a global organization defining local projects to help kids in need: distributing hygiene materials to help children and their families protect themselves from coronavirus, information sharing and education about essential information so families are accurately informed about how to stay healthy. The pandemic is leaving countless children without caregivers, out of school and in danger. Children and families least able to cope will be hit hardest.

Over a billion children have had their education disrupted. Children who live in poverty, refugee camps and conflict zones may never return to school – especially girls who are now at risk from early pregnancy or child marriage. And as poverty deepens, children out-of-school may be forced to work to make ends meet. This is the biggest education emergency of our lifetime.
