Save the Spix macaw. Only 93 left in the world

Let’s achieve something great together! You can start by supporting this fundraiser. I’ve chosen to support “Help save the world's rarest parrot from extinction!” because they’re very dear to my heart. Both the organisation and I will thank you for your contribution, every donation counts!

And every one of those 93 individuals are in captivity in breeding programs. 


The ACTP “Accociation for the conservation of threatened parrots” are doing everything possible to breed in captivity. Including artificial insemination. 

These birds inspired the movie “RIO” to help bring awareness of these macaws fight for survival. 

I have 3,385 fb friends. If every single one of you donated $5.00 to this cause that is a whopping $16,925 to help fund the breeding and even artificial insemination and lab efforts to save these birds. We can never get them back once they are gone there’s still a chance.
