LOVE FOR LIFE’s mission is dedicated to creating conscious, sustainable change to empower people and protect nature.

Projects that my campaign supports:

IMAGINE LIGHT
A locally-owned and community-led solar energy initiative with five Indigenous Nations in the hardest to reach rainforest communities in Latin America that creates sustainable access to clean and safe energy as well as self-determined development in harmony with nature.

THE GREEN HEART
A community-led and locally-owned ecosystem restoration project that focuses on environmental education and livelihood creation by recovering degraded and contaminated soil through nature- and low-cost solutions in the Upper Headwaters of the Ecuadorian Amazon.

LOVE FOR LIFE's Theory of Change is based on three interconnected spheres of action.
 
Elevating Consciousness
They view inner work and personal development as a prerequisite for outer effectiveness and societal transformation. In trainings, workshops, and publications they raise awareness about social and environmental justice issues as well as inspire and empower people to reconnect with themselves, each other and nature to unleash our full potential and to co-create real change in the world.
 
Taking Direct Action
They create and implement social and development projects in conflict and crisis areas that empower people to fulfill their rights to lead self-determined lives in dignity and peace. Thereby they connect the social, ecological, and economic dimensions of sustainability, and the creation of development possibilities, with the protection of the natural world. As a result, they contribute to the global realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
 
Transforming Systems
They develop and execute initiatives and campaigns to co-create innovative and future-oriented systems and emergent structures that embody a new set of values based on inter-connectedness, inclusion, compassion, and courage to promote cultures of peace and justice that contribute to a paradigm shift.

LOVE FOR LIFE's vision is one united world in which all love to live in. A world in which all life is held as sacred and everybody has the opportunity to actualize their full potential and to share their unique gift with the world.

Protecting the Rainforest, Powering the People

Craig Davis posted this update on December 15, 2019.

"For thousands of years, indigenous communities have inhabited the Amazon rainforest living in an intimate connection with the natural world. “Life in the jungle was like living in paradise,” a Cofán elder recalls from his childhood memory. It was a life filled with wonder, freedom, reverence, and a beautiful expression of the Great Song of Life. But that song was about to change forever with the foreign sounds of helicopters, explosions of dynamite, chainsaws and heavy trucks cutting through the natural music, all in the hunt for oil."
