Together for Children | SOS children's villages

Hello World,

this is our all attempt of making you a better place. 

It is the end of the year, a decade is over. This is the time of the year where we start thinking about what already happened in our lives. Start thinking about all the good and happy things you did in the last 10 years. Nostalgia makes us happy, so why stop here? Let's start making new memories right here, right now. It is the end of the year, so let us end it on a good note.
Some children unfortunately do not have many happy memories.
 
Let's change this together! I've chosen to support „SOS-Kinderdörfer: Nothilfe weltweit“ because every kid on this planet deserves a joyful childhood. The SOS children's villages is an organization working to protect and care for children who have lost parental care, or those who stand at risk of losing it. They give children without parents a home and take care of them. SOS children’s villages work in 137 countries with 572 villages and over 2700 projects worldwide. They take care of almost 415 000 children. Caring for so many little humans is not easy, but with this fundraising event we can support them. 

The organization strengthens families, enables education, advocates children's rights, protect them and of course provide them with all human needs, so that they can live in merciful conditions.  These and more actions, give the children a chance for a better future. 

 

The money we raise with this event will go to the organization without prefering a specific project. This means that they can chose in which country they want to use the money depending on where the need is the biggest.

Now this is the part where I politely ask you to please donate money to a good cause. It does not have to be a lot. I am more than happy if you just donate 1 Euro, it is more than I could ask for. Every cent counts. 

Change is the work of many.
I understand that not everyone has the possibility to donate money. I am a student myself and I know that there are times when our budget is a bit short, especially during the last month of the year. So if you cannot donate, maybe consider sharing this fundraising event with someone you know, social media or any other way you can imagine. Every kind of help will definitely be appreciated.
