Greetings from the Women’s Initiative for Prosperity (WIP) based in Kamuli Eastern Uganda E. Africa.
We welcome you to Women’s Initiative for Prosperity (WIP).
WIP is a Civil Organization Registered as a Non Governmental Organization by the National NGO Board under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uganda. WIP implements community based Projects at the Grassroots.
WIP was birthed out of commitment, love, hope and prayers by a team of two ladies and one man
The Organization was started with the overall objective of Economic empowerment/Access to Market towards the widows, elderly mothers and youth, awareness of Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights, Health & Care, Prevention of HIV/AIDS and Later the Orphan & Vulnerable Children were brought on board. (See above explanations)
WIP was founded with a vision of “A society that recognizes the needs and rights of the women and children” and a mission of “to improve the social economic well being of women and children through economic empowerment, healthy care, human rights awareness and education support”.
