Run Pack for Street Child & Sierra Leone

We are Run Pack. A running crew from Berlin founded in 2013. 

Thank you for visiting our fundraising project for Sierra Leone Marathon 2020!

The race is connected to funds that are needed to be raised to support the international Charity Street Child.  

One of founders – Kathi – already ran the Sierra Leone Marathon in 2017, not only raising money for Street Child and running a stunning race but also learning about Street Child, their mission and the great work their doing for the kids in Sierra Leone and Liberia. 

In 2020 we want to support even more. 8 Runners from Run Pack formed a project group to make this happen. 8 Runners – that means at least €10.000,- in donations need to be collected, enabling help where it’s needed the most and helping the wonderful people from Street Child keep up their incredible work. 

Just to give you an idea of what we would be able to contribute:
15€ can provide a school uniform 

35€ can send a child to primary school for a year. 

115€ can provide textbooks for a whole classroom of children in a rural school. 

300€ can provide a mother with a business grant and training so they can afford to send their children to school 

600€ can fund training for 10 teachers and raise teaching standards 

1.200€ can provide all the necessary classroom furniture and resources for a village school 

2.300€+ Funds the construction of a first-ever temporary class-room or mini-’school’ in a rural village. It also gives us time to start work on a permanent structure which can take up to 3 years to build. 

5.800€+ Funds the construction of a village school with 2 classrooms for 100+ children: the first proper school that village has ever had. 

We are just getting started and we know it’s a long way to go. But any help is welcome and we are determined to bring this project home. For Street Child and the kids of Sierra Leone and Liberia.
