What’s it about
Team Canada getting started for the Baltic Sea Circle rally 2019
Out of our international friendship and adventurous spirit we (Matt Tuggle and Jason Jensen) decided to compete at the BSC rally 2019.
The challenge is not only to cross the 10 national borders in a 20 year old car, but also to do without GPS and motorway. One of the first Task in that Rally is to collect charity
One of the first tasks of this rally is to collect donations for a good cause. We have decided for a marine conservation organization that has been active from Germany for a long time.
This organization has been working for marine protection since 2003. They have made it their task:
- to raise awareness about the dangers of the oceans
- exert political pressure to remedy the causes
- promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and
- provide a forum for information exchange and networking.
The 7500km of our 1977 Chevrolet Impala which we are currently preparing will accompany us.
The route runs from Germany via Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic States back via Poland.
After the start you can follow us and the 250 other teams live over a tracker.
