Asha Frankfurt Marathon to help kerala children

This year, 30 of us are running Frankfurt Marathon and raising funds to provide living(dress, footwear, bedding) and learning materials (books, note books, stationary) for 200 tribal children from Vellamunda Village in Wayanand district in Kerala. 

We are working with Wayanad Girijana Seva Trust, who is long term partner of Asha for Education and works extensively with tribal communities in the region. These families lost everything during the floods. As most of the families have very less means of livelihood, buying learning materials are the last thing families want to do. So along with partner "Wayanand Girijana Seva Trust", Asha Frankfurt is raising funds to provide learning and relief materials so that children can get back to the schools soon.

Most of us are running first the time and to be able to support the children to get back to their normal life and realise their dreams, motives us to finish the marathon successfully. With your generous help, we will surely reach the target to complete the project soon. Any amount of donation is good, apart from the funds we raise, the thought of supporting a children thousands of miles away gives all of us a good feeling.
