What’s it about
We cannot change the whole world, but we believe that we can change the world for the children in forgotten crises.
We are a group of young individuals, MBA students at WHU in Düsseldorf, who believe in the vision of the organization "Save the Children", as some of us have personally suffered and experienced the direct effects of severe poverty caused by war, natural disasters, and other factors, tearing the region apart.
Our name KWA WATOTO comes from the Swahili language and means "For the Children". We're deeply touched by this issue on a personal level since one of us had the chance to do a humanitarian activity last year in Kenya and see the situation on site, and we're hoping to receive your generous support.
We're reaching out to you for your help and here are some of the most important insights on how you can contribute:

- $ 10 hourly costs of renting an ambulance
- $ 15 treat one child against Cholera or other diseases
- $ 40 box of nutrition for one child for 10 weeks
- $ 94 feed the family of seven for a whole month
- $ 151 school material for a school to teach 2500 children for a year
- $ 100 treatment of one child with severe acute malnutrition
- $ 210 pay for a household to feed and protect sustainable livestock
Drought and floods, severe malnutrition, displacement, conflicts and disease outbreaks have put 12 million people in the Horn of Africa in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
