What’s it about
WHO CAN TAKE PART
Entry is limited to 600 participants, including the children's 5K fun walk and run. Applications for each event will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Entries will not be accepted without a signed international entry form and disclaimer available from events@masaimarakenyamarathon.com. Please note that a photo ID will be required at Registration.
1. Friday 5th August - Arrival Marathon Village
2. Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th respectively - Children's (Age categories: 10-13 years and 14-17 years) 5km Walk and Fun Run; Adults (18 Years Plus) 5K and 10K Walk and Fun Run
3. Monday 8th August - Adults (18 Years Plus) Full and Half Marathon (42km and 21km)
4. Tuesday 9th to Wednesday 10th August - All Age Groups: Game drives, cultural events, and guided nature walks in the Mara
5. Thursday 11th to Friday 12th August - All Age Groups Volunteering in Perimart International and Mend the Gap projects around the Masai Mara
6. Friday 12th August and Saturday 13th August - Departure Masai Mara
Only Camping and Glamping event participants will stay in the securely fenced Marathon Village. These are encouraged to come with their own 4-6 person tents (green in colour) and sleeping mats (as part of their 23Kg x 2 +12kg baggage allowance) to leave behind to Perimart International’s local schools and community exchange programme. Camping will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Request accommodation forms from events@perimart.co.ke or download from www.masaimarakenyamarathon.com. Please visit the event website for more details.
