Virginia Lowe Memory fundraiser
Since November 1st, 2016 projects, whose organizations are not recognized as charitable efforts in Germany or Austria, can no longer collect donations on betterplace.org. Learn more about these changes
Virginia dedicated much of the last years of her life helping refugees that arrived in Istanbul from many places and for different reasons. She was always available to collect donations, organize work for people who needed helpers, called out for warm coats in winter, and carried packets of food and essentials ( socks, soap, gloves, and as she once said a chocolate because that is something everyone loves) to hand out to people who ended up on the street here after running away from war, poverty, or persecution in their own countries. She touched many peoples lives and her passing away recently will leave a void in a world where we need lots of Virginia's! I am sure she will be pleased to know that we have made a memorial in her name to help Syrian refugees.
Thank you for visiting my page at betterplace.org! Donating at betterplace.org is safe and easy. betterplace.org forwards 100% of all donations. You can even track the use of funds. Not only is betterplace.org a great way to raise support, but it provides transparency as well, showing how your donation directly affects the project outcome.
That is why I would be very grateful if you donated to my project now!
