Help child refugees start a better life in Germany

What’s it about
(For family and friends who may have wanted to give us a present for her birth - please don't - please make a donation, however small, instead.)
Please help us to help those children who aren't as lucky and privileged as our own kids.
Young children who have fled their war-torn homes and had to bear a gruelling, terrifying trip across Europe to find a safe haven in Germany. Let's help them begin a happier new chapter of their life here in Berlin, Hamburg or elsewhere. There are a number of great initiatives led by wonderful people who are helping to take care of refugee families and give them a welcome, dignified and easier start to their new but still uncertain life here. Thanks so much for helping!!

#Thankyou - and please continue donating!

We wanted to thank you so much again for your kind and generous support. We're really moved and grateful that you have helped us raise €1300 for refugee children and families. We have now forwarded on the current donations to the two organisations doing great work in Berlin and Hamburg, as the money is needed urgently. However the page will remain open for further donations. They will be buying hygiene products, things for babys, as well as school materials, materials to learn German and many other things that are badly needed. We hope that this goes a small way to making the life of many families just a little bit easier and better as they try to start a new life here.
Many many thanks,
Pamela & Rowan
