What’s it about
Dear Friends & Colleagues,
As many of you know already, more than a decade ago I had the odd idea of running one marathon on every continent. I ticked four continents (New York 2004, Istanbul 2012, Rio de Janeiro 2013, Victoria Falls Zimbabwe 2014) so far.
With your help I raised CHF 4’219 during my more reason run for my charity CBSM. It is providing education for 800 orphans and vulnerable children in Kimilili / Western Kenya. After last year’s race I visited the charity to experience a little bit of what these children go through every day while living in a mud hut with no electricity or clean water. My days were packed with helping to set up a better accounting system, organising a run with 800kids through the muddy roads of Kimilili and last but not least and most important: learn to have nothing and still be happy.
My next race?
August 9th inside the ruins of Angkor Wat, the World Heritage Site in Cambodia.
I would greatly appreciate if you could follow the below link and support me – and more importantly, the 800 orphans in Kimilili - once more:

With marathon No 5 I hope to raise CHF 5’555. Should I finish above 5 hours, I will match your donations up to my CHF 5’555 target!
Thank you very much for your support.
