Steffi und Jonas für Cultural Care Kids First!

Am 07. Juni findet in Potsdam ein Halbmarathon statt – und Steffi (Berliner Büro) und Jonas (Regionalleiter Münster) von Cultural Care sind mit dabei!
Steffi ist bereits mehrfach in Berlin beim Halbmarathon mitgelaufen; Jonas erhofft sich, „Run a half marathon“ endlich von seiner bucket list streichen zu können.

Wir beiden haben uns zusammengetan und wollen den Lauf für eine gute Sache nutzen. Seit einigen Jahren spendet die Kids First Foundation Geld und Material für ein Waisenhaus in Bangalore. Um den Kindern den Schulbesuch zu ermöglichen, benötigen die Mitarbeiter vor Ort allerdings Geld. Sie finanzieren sich größtenteils durch Spenden, die sie von Tür zu Tür sammeln. Der Schulbesuch kostet pro Kind allerdings, je nach Schulart (Grundschule, Universität, ...), $60-$1200 Dollar.

Wir möchten unseren eigenen Beitrag leisten und den Kindern eine bessere Zukunft ermöglichen. Chandini, die bereits mit 14 Jahren in der finanziellen Organisation des Waisenhauses aushilft; Tharun, der gerne schreibt, zählt und Mathe lernt; Deepak, der mittlerweile studiert, um später als Softwareingenieur zu arbeiten. Sie alle können von eurer Spende profitieren!
Das Beste an der Sache: für jeden Euro, den ihr gebt, spendet Cultural Care ebenfalls einen Euro. Eure Beiträge sind also doppelt so viel wert!

The Potsdam half marathon takes place on 7th June 2015, and Steffi (Berlin Office) as well as Jonas (Regional Leader Münster) from Cultural Care in Germany are running it! Whereas Steffi is more of a seasoned runner, having run several half marathons in Berlin, Jonas is hoping to finally cross 'run a half marathon' off his bucket list.

We would like to take this opportunity and raise some attention for a good cause. For several years now, the Kids First foundation has been supporting an orphanage in Bangalore. In order for the children to attend school, the local staff needs money to pay for the school fees. They get by with the help of door-to-door donations. However, school fees cost $60-$1200, depending on the type of school the kids attend.

We would like to help out and ensure that these kids can actually go to school. Chandini, who, even though she is only 14 years old, assists with filing taxes, paying bills and organizing the official papers; Tharun, who likes writing, counting and learning maths; Deepak, who is now enrolled in college and is hoping to become a software engineer. They can all profit from your kind and generous donations.
