What’s it about
Hallo ihr Lieben,
wie auch schon letztes Jahr, möchte ich auch dieses Jahr wieder meinen Geburtstag als Anlass nehmen, um hilfsbedürftigen Kindern in Burkina Faso, Westafrika, medizinische Behandlungen zu ermöglichen.
Ich engagiere mich seit 1.5 Jahren bei der Non-Profit-Organisation DEVELOPmed.aid (http://developmedaid.org), die Operationen und medizinische Behandlungen für Kinder in Burkina Faso übernimmt, wo die Eltern es sich selbst leider nicht leisten können. DEVELOPmed.aid leitet Spenden zu 100% weiter.
Mein Ziel ist es zu meinem 27. Geburtstag am 27. Mai 270 EUR zu sammeln. Ich wünsche mir von Euch daher dieses Jahr keine Geschenke, sondern eine Spende für das Projekt, - ob 5, 10 oder 20 EUR, jeder Euro zählt, und wenn es mehr wird, ist es natürlich umso besser.
Das Spenden über betterplace (www.betterplace.org) ist sicher und unkompliziert. Ihr könnt durch betterplace sehen, was die Hilfe beim Projekt vor Ort bewirkt und auch verfolgen, welchen Stand das Projekt hat.
Ich bedanke mich bereits jetzt für jede noch so kleine Spende!

Dear all,
Like last year, I have again a special wish for my 27th birthday on May 27th. I have been volunteering for the past 1.5 years for the non-profit organization DEVELOPmed.aid (http://developmedaid.org), whose goal it is to provide access to health care and medical treatment for needy children in Burkina Faso.
This organization forwards 100% of its donations to the children in need and supports their surgery or medical treatment.
I would like to take my birthday as an opportunity to help more children. Instead of buying a birthday gift, I would be very grateful if you could instead make a donation for this great organization - whether it is 5, 10 or 20 EUR, every euro counts.
My goal is to collect 270 EUR for my 27th birthday, which will be donated directly to DEVELOPmed.aid and thus the children in Burkina Faso. The donations through betterplace are very safe and easy. The betterplace platform enables you to keep track of the project status.

Danke ihr Lieben für Eure Spenden zu meinem 27. Geburtstag! Ich habe sie an die Organisation DEVELOPMed.Aid weitergeleitet, die Kindern in Burkina Faso eine medizinische Versorgung ermöglicht. In unserem nächsten Spendenbericht erfahrt ihr, welchen Kindern die Spende zugute gekommen ist.
