Kagate Erbeben Hilfe - Kagate Quake Relief Effort

Nach dem verheerenden Erdbeben Anfang Mai hat am 12. Mai 2015 die Erde ein zweites Mal gebebt mit Stärke 7.4 in Nepal. Diesmal lag das Epicentrum nur 30 km nordöstlich von Kagate, Provinz Ramechap, dem Dorf, dem MountainProjects eine neue Schule bauen wollte. Dies ist jetzt zweitrangig, denn die Bewohner kämpfen ums nackte Überleben. Sie leben unter freiem Himmel ohne Schutz, ihre Häuser sind irreparabel zerstört, die Nahrungsvorräte reichen noch wenige Wochen. Besonders kritisch ist das Trauma, das alle Bewohner, besonders aber die Kinder zeigen aus Angst vor weiteren Beben und der omnipräsenten Gefahr von Erdrutschen.
Kurzum, hier geht es um Wiederaufbau des Dorfes und einer Rückkehr in ein normales Leben für die Menschen. Danach bauen wir die Schule.
Wir liefern Zelte, Matrazen, Decken ins Dorf, denn die Regensaison beginnt in wenigen Wochen. Grundnahrungsmittel und medizinische Grundversorgung stellen wir ebenfalls zur Verfügung.

After the devastating earthquake a few days ago Nepal has been shaken for a second time with a magnitude of 7.4. This time the epicenter was traced just 30 km northeast of Kagate, Ramechap province, the village that was intended to receive a new school through MountainProjects e.V..
This is now of secondary importance since the families struggle just to stay alive. They camp outside in the open without shelter, their homes are damaged beyond repair with food supplies for a few weeks only. All people are traumatised - especially the children - by the omnipresent danger of further quakes and landslides.
It is about nothing more than rebuilding the village and secure a return to a normal life for the families. Only then, we build the new school.
We supply tents, mattresses, blankets to Kagate with the monsoon approaching more and more. Staple foods and health care are top priorities as well.
