What’s it about
LET'S MAKE AN IMPACT TOGETHER FOR THE PEOPLE IN NEPAL!
Today we, the Social Impact team, turn to you – our network of change makers.
LET'S TEAM UP! LET'S REBUILD LIVES. Let’s build solid family homes together with Habitat for Humanity. Each house for a family of five to six merely costs Euro 600. Houses are made of local materials, come with solid stone fundament and flexible walls to better withstand earthquakes. The homes also provide access to water and sanitation as well as to power.
When the powerful earthquake hit Nepal on Saturday morning (April 26, 2015) it left more than 8,000 people confirmed dead and 10,000 injured. This number is expected to climb again as yesterday (May 12,2015) another earthquake hit the region.
However, the extent of the destruction and loss of life in the remote countryside still remains largely unknown. The United Nations estimates that 2.8 million have lost their homes.
Together we can make an impact! JOIN US!
