We as the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Hub Frankfurt (www.globalshapersfrankfurt.de) & KAYWAZ.com are raising money for the Nonprofit organisation Skateistan (www.skateistan.org) in Afghanistan to give girls & boys access to creative education in a safe environment.
Skateistan has developed an innovative, youth-led programming that builds confidence, trust and social capital among children. It uses “the hook” of skateboarding to connect kids with education. Skateistan provides opportunities for education, leadership, and creative thinking that help break the cycles of poverty and exclusion. | Check out some videos about Skateistan here: www.vimeo.com/skateistan
