What’s it about
The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has invited Uganda's under 19 team to participate in the Safari 7s age grade tournament on 25th September 2014. UWRA and URU are currently seeking for sponsorship to the tune of 14 million Uganda shillings for the team's preparations and travel. In the mean time, girls from Entebbe, Gulu, Jinja, Kampala, Kitgum and Mbale are training from their respective regions until they meet for a 3 day camp from 20th - 22nd September. The team is expected to travel to Nairobi on 23rd September and return to Kampala on 26th September.

Die Kenia Rugby Union (KRU) hat das unter 19 Mädchen Team zu dem Safari 7er Rugbyturnier eingeladen. Dieser Wettkampf findet am 25. September 2014 in Nairobi statt. Die Uganda Frauen Rugby Assoziation und die Uganda Rugby Union benötigen 14 Millionen UGX (umgerechnet 5600 USD oder 4000 Euro) um das Team auf dieses Turnier vorzubereiten und um nach Nairobi zu reisen. Zwischenzeitlich haben die Mädels aus Entebbe, Gulu, Jinja, Kampala, Kitgum und Mbale mit dem Training begonnen. Alle treffen sich zum 3 Tage Trainingscamp in Kampala. Am 23. September beginnt die Reise nach Kenia und am 26. September kommen sie zurück.

I am sure you have all been following this tournament in which our girls won took the trophy, made us truly proud and many tears were shed!
