What’s it about
IT Training Centre for Teachers in Africa (ITCT Africa) was initiated with the aim of fostering the use of ICT in education in Africa by Education Africa (EDDA) and the University of Cologne in 2004. It mission is to foster the use of ICT in education in Uganda. In November 2011, ITCT Africa was officially launched to the public with emphasis on teachers both in-service and pre-service. In August 2012 it received funding from CIM and teachers, tutors and lecturers (multipliers) were selected from Primary, Secondary and Primary Teacher Training Colleges and Universities. They successfully completed the training and graduated in November 2013. (check our website www.itct-africa-org)
As of now ITCT Africa has rolled over to in-house training in at least 10 schools.
ITCT Africa would like at least 4 people (multipliers) to attend the eLearning in Africa Conference scheduled for May 2014 in Kampala.
That is why I would be very grateful if you donated to my project now!
