We skate for Kate

Hello, my name is Katrin and I'm a Roller Derby Skater with the rocKArollers, Karlsruhe where I’m better known by my player name “Kate Mosphit”.
In March 2013, just a few weeks before my 24th birthday, I got the kind of news that no one wants to hear: “You have cancer”. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma. My team was deeply moved and wanted to help in some way so we decided to start a fundraiser for the German Hodgkin Study Group (GHSG) to support their research into this special type of cancer and to share my story and hope with other persons concerned.

The German Hodgkin Study Group at the University of Cologne has been researching the lymphoma for 30 years with the help of patients from all over Europe and is trying to find treatments that are highly effective but have less side effects.
We have been collecting donations with the help of many other German and European Derby Teams since June, but we want to go even further: Help us go international and spread our cause to reach our desired goal of raising as much money for the Hodgkin Study Group as we possibly can.

All donations will go directly and to 100% to the German Hodgkin Study Group to help them with their research to find better and less aggressive treatments and to give some hope to future Hodgkin patients.
