Al and Dom are running a long way...

Hello, thanks for having a look at my page...

On October 21st, I'll be attempting to run the Amsterdam marathon, with Dom Navin-Jones.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for a charity that I worked for in 2010 in Peru. The charity is Intiwawa, a grassroots charity based in Arequipa in Southern Peru. It is a fantastic organisation that helps improve the prospects of children in impoverished rural areas around Arequipa. The charity relies 100% on the generosity of others, whether through donating time or money to the cause, so any penny, pound, euro, dollar or cent will go directly to helping these kids.

The charity has recently built a Casa Intiwawa - a house where the children can have access to educational, social and health facilities. The funds raised from the marathon will go towards providing these facilities. It really is a great cause, and one that means a lot!
