Mission complete!

A. Grittini posted this update on April 30, 2012.
Approximately ten hours after setting off from home (and roughly nine hours in the saddle), I completed the cycle on Saturday afternoon at 16:44!
I clocked up at least 103km (it was difficult to measure a few additional distances as I had to navigate around two unexpected road and cycle path diversions that extended my planned route).
I could easily keep up a high cadence due to comfortable access to nuts, bananas and water (located in a front panier), very few strong headwinds and not a drop of rain! These factors, coupled with smelling and seeing nature at its best, made for a beautiful day outdoors!
Thank you to all for your support!
