J. MUGABI’s fundraising event

What's it about?

Dine So They Can (DSTC)
Host an event, invite your friends, have fun, raise money and transform lives!

It is a collective one huge Global meal initiated by Youth With A Vision, inviting people all around the world to host dinner parties or something like, invite their friends, have fun and share their ideas about the needs of children and gather donations. This year’s Dine to save a life event will take place on 7th July 2012, and aims to raise €20,000, to provide food, school fees and supplies, bedding, shoes and lunch meals for children in our foster families, Tekera Kanywa, Ndegeya, Kinyerere , Real Africa and Kako Primary Schools, and the acquisition of land on which to construct the children’s resource center in Uganda.

We invite you to host your own dinner party – let it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening drink or dinner or something like, invite your friends, colleagues and family and raise money to support our work with children and youth in Uganda.

Anyone who raises €500 or more from their event will be entered into a draw where a winner will travel to Uganda to experience first-hand how YWAV is working in local communities, and see how sponsorship and donations made to YWAV really do make a difference to the lives of some of Uganda’s neediest children and young people.

In 2009 ‘’Dine So They Can’’ raised €2,800 for the children’s food and education. And Angie Belcher from Bristol UK was a grand prize winner who traveled to Uganda in 2009. In case you would like to learn from her experience please feel free to contact her via
