To who do I issue a tax receipt?

All donations to your project on are donations to respectively to the holding company gemeinnützige AG. gAG is recognised for tax purposes as a funding body and recipient of all donations made by supporters at See our Terms and Conditions (point 2).

**Therefore will issue all tax receipts to the inidividual donor!

Everytime your organisation requests a payout, donates to your organisation. Therefore gAG needs a tax receipt from your organisation latest until 31st March of the following year. It must include all donations received in the prior year.

The donation receipt must contain the following data:

  • Signature of the chairman
  • Sum of allowances
  • Period of allowances
  • Issuer: name of your organisation
  • Name and address of donor: gemeinnützige Aktiengesellschaft, Schlesische Straße 26, 10997 Berlin
  • a table including all individual allowances
