Every child has come from a very bad situation but due to good health, education, loving parents and a good family environment, all our kids (13 right now) are very happy and really going forward in life.

The vision:
To be a place which is full of love and life.
To be a place which provides housing, education and health care to orphans, the abandoned, rejected and lost children of all faith.
To be a place which helps and empowers children to become independent, responsible and successful citizens who will change and bless their own people, nation and beyond.

The future:
The orphanage home is a rented house and the lease is for two more years. We do own 3000m3 of land and I am currently in the stage of setting our big fundraiser for next year 2009 to build a new home for our children. It would be a much bigger place that could take up to 50 kid, have our own community hall, class rooms for teaching and a sports field.

How the fundraising will work:
We are putting together 600 packs, and in a pack there will be a t-shirt, hat, stickers and a calendar of all our children for 2009. We are hoping to send these packs all over the world to people that would like to get behind the fundraiser. By receiving a pack you would be committing to raising $1000 during the year of 2009 to help with the building project. with 600 packs going out we will raise $600 000 to build our new home.

In August/September 09, I spent 2 weeks at Life House Orphanage, and it was amazing, it was a house completely dedicated to the life of the young children that live there, it was full of life and love. What touched me the most when i was there, was knowing the lifestyle circumstances that the children had been suffering and that by the grace of god ( and Brad and Siska dedication and hard work) these kids are now in a home that not only can give them a future but a loving godly family that will be there for them everyday and it is exciting to know that the plans for the future is to give more children that opportunity. It was a privilege to be a part of something so wonderful, even if it was for such a short time.

i´m a 29 years old girl from germany, after studying and working (for 4 years) as a social worker, i`m now at the humboldt university in berlin, doing my area studies, with focus on southeastasia (i'm also learning bahasa indonesia there). sadly, it`s not possible for me to support your project with financial ads, but i`m very interesting in working (maybe during a practice- term or during my semesterbreak). now then my request, is it possible to work with in your project? is there any possibility for me? i´m really interested in! dear greetings from Rabea

Hello Mr Little, First I would like to express my admiration for the project you and your wife are trying to realize. though, a few question came up while looking at the project closer. 1) I just looked at the pictures for yous plans of the orphanage in Djimbaran, Bali. Just wonder, why the house is such a designer piece? Wouldn't it be cheaper and more sustainable to build a house whih includes local building elements and arrangements for the rooms and halls? (could be restored by people from the area around there) Another question I will have is concerning the building of the house would amount to 60.000 US $ or 600.000 US $? 2) what are your plans regarding the calssroom? Are you also planing to establish a small school right there? Don't get me wrong- I am merely asking to get a bit more information on your project. Thanks ahead for clarification and information. Yours sincerely, Yvonne

Hello Mrs Andreas. I`d like to apologize for not having answered your question for so long. Concerning to the pictures and the designer piece and in order to inform you, the plan for the building is to bring common balinese and modern architecture together. That`s why there are many open halls and rooms planed. And for sure, local people will build the whole orphanage, tha`s unquestionable. Concernig to your second question, the calculated amount of money, needed for all the planes, including well appointed classrooms ist 600.000 US $. Thank you for your interest in the project. Best regards. Brad
