School year begins at the end of April

Hi everyone. Thanks again for all your donations.  This means so much for the students and the parents.  The Ecuadorian education system has changed the requirements for graduating from grade school. Now to graduate a student has to complete 7th and 8th grade.  The local rural schools do not have 7th and 8th grades so the students have to travel to Apuela to attend the middle school to be able to graduate from gradeschool.  The Ecuadorian government does not supply transportation for the students.  You are not only helping provide a high school eduaction but the basic grade school education for over thirty students.  Thank you so much, Sandy

Thank you for all the recent donations.  The students just started the third semester.  I had just given all the funds I had for the this final semester, but the treasurers of each community informed me that they would be needing about $400.  So this is coming in just in time.  I have set up the need for the next year also.  So if you would like to donate now for next year that would be great. In all I will need to raise three thousand dollars so every thing helps.  On behalf of the students and their parents thank you. Best, Sandy
