Reach Out Cameroon is an NGO operating in the South West Region of Cameroon. We are working with gender awareness, wealth creation, and HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.
Reach Out supports and advocates for underprivileged groups on health issues, wealth creation and capacity building using a community-based, participatory approach.
It is a woman- and youth-centred organisation operating in the South West Region of Cameroon. Created in 1996, the organisation was founded out of concerns about the plight of marginalised rural groups, especially those in isolated, hard-to-reach areas.
I will be working as a volunteer for REACH OUT CAMEROON from August 2012 until November 2012. All donations given to this project will be directly used to continue the participatory activities with the local community this summer. Once I will be in Cameroon, I will keep you updated about how your donation is being used and how the project is developing.
