Our 4 Guts for Change heroes are well on their way. Via Prague, Passau, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest they finally set foot on Romania last week. More than a 1000 kilometers within the first month. Congrats Maushami, Erik, Johann & Thomas!!!

...and a big THANK YOU to all our supporters so far who helped us getting closer to the overall goal of reaching the 10,000 Euro mark for the upcoming sanitation project in Garade, India. So far we were able to collect almost 3,000 Euros and we hope that this invaluable support and generosity will continue in the months to come.

GTO is currently working hard to identify additional ways to top up the collected betterplace donations in order to go even more large scale with the sanitation project. So please keep your fingers crossed that our proposal writing efforts will be crowned with success to allow us to double or even triple each Euro you donate(d) to the project.

...and our friends from Non-Water Sanitation e.V. are planning for several open-air events in Greifswald in the month of June to raise some more funds for the project. So if you're happen to be in Greifswald in June we will keep you posted as soon as date and location are confirmed.

Meanwhile our partner in India, the Ecosan Services Foundation, is preparing for the implementation of the project and organized first orientation workshops with the community of Garade. The community members very much appreciate the support given and are very eager to meet our 4 cyclists in person as soon as they reach Garade. In addition we were recently told that a local bicycle shop owner in Pune is planning to accompany our team the last 100 kilometers from Mumbai to Pune together with around 100(!) other cycling enthusiasts. Looks like a fantastic last leg of the tour.

We will keep you posted on further developments in the coming weeks and months.
