About this project

In the rented children's house "Hope for Children" we care for 27 children. Many were half-starved, living on the streets, left to their own devices. Our aim is to give children who live on the edge of the street a family loving home and education. The number of mentally, physically and sexually abused children is very high. Many do not make it to the age of 5.

Unfortunately our house has become too small. With the help of donations, we plan to purchase 2 hectares of land, where a large main building with dormitories, a large dining hall, a traditional kitchen building and toilets will be built. The cultivation of vegetables, fruit and the keeping of goats and chickens contributes to the self-sufficiency of the children's house, in addition to a varied diet for the children. Children love animals and so they also learn to take responsibility. A solar system supplies the home with electricity, a well guarantees the water supply.

The children's house is run by Brian and Edith, a pastor couple. They give their whole heart and love for these children. Because it is these children who educate future generations and teach them values such as love, respect and appreciation. The children are given a safe home and the opportunity to go to school.

We have prepared a 2-year plan for the project in the amount of 80,000 €. In order to realise this plan, we are 100% dependent on donations and support from Good Samaritans.
