General Context

On the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of every month, PDH organises support groups for children (Groupe de Paroles). The first group is for children made vulnerable by AIDS, and the second group is for street and neglected children.

Clarification of the Project

For each ‘Groupe de Paroles’ the children arrive after lunch and begin the afternoon by playing a range of games. After games there is a presentation on a specific theme which is discussed with the children who have the chance to participate and ask questions. Finally a meal is cooked at the centre by staff and some of the older children which are then distributed and everyone eats together.

PDH want to ensure the continuation of these very worthwhile support groups. The costs endured for the project are for 2 water sachets and a meal for 60 children and 2 adults as well as the cost for a supervisor at session. This amounts to 77 Euros.
