Why 30% are already financed

Dear supporters,

Besides betterplace.org, we also use Facebook and our normal donation account to raise funds for the new school. Outside of betterplace, 2892 Euros in donations have been collected so far.
 
For the sake of transparency, we today also registered these so-called "external donations" here at betterplace. As you can see, about 30% of the first project phase has been financed. Many thanks to all donors!
 
We want to start with the implementation in February and fill up and straighten the site. This is necessary so that the school premises will not get flooded during the rainy season. Since the earth that will be piled up during the straightening of the site, has to settle and compact for a year, a wall will also be built around the property. This will prevent the erosion of the earth material applied in the first construction phase by heavy rainfall.

In the next update you can expect updated designs of the school building from our architecture student Sovann. Until then, please continue to collect donations and advertise for us.
