Hamburg Model United Nations 2019

Hamburg Model United Nations is the largest MUN in Germany. Over 600 participants from over 50 nations join at end of November at UHH-Campus to simulate the UN. Our goal is international cooperation and friendship building.

Hamburg Model United Nations is an annual simulation conference in Hamburg, which is hosted by a volunteering group of students.
From 28. Nov to 1. Dec over 600 participants from over 50 nations join and simulate the United Nations as well as regional committees like the European Council at the University of Hamburg.
The participants will be delegates of different states and have to try to reach the best outcome out of the view of that respective nation. Even if that's not equal to their own opinion.
Because of the international level of the event friendships are build across borders and cultural differences, some for a lifetime. The participants are therefore working on the intercultural competences, they have to understand different positions and effectivly defend them. Almost automatically they strengthen their ability to compromise and debate.
During the last 20 years HamMUN became the largest conference of its kind in Germany, one of the largest in Europe. For further information please see hammun.de
We are extremly thankful for your kind support.
