Clean water for the Jordan Valley

The Tal-Al-Mantah sewage treatment plant will be supplied with electricity via solar power, which is cheaper and more efficient. In the SBH EcoPark, a plant-based sewage treatment plant will be installed to purify the local wastewater.

About this project

Jordan and the entire Middle East are one of the driest regions in the world. Water supply is a daily challenge: Areas used for agriculture must be irrigated and sufficient drinking water must be made available to local residents. But the sources of water, such as the Jordan River, are threatening to dry up. For this reason, the scarce and precious resource should be used sustainably. And this is exactly where our project measures come in.
