Visiting the construction site in Sass Town!

We had a wonderful visit in Liberia this month to personally witness the ongoing construction of the security perimeter foundation for the future child care center in Sass Town. We are thrilled with the progress that we are currently making! The ditch for the 3-foot foundation is first being dug out, and the blocks that we molded on site before the rainy season are then being placed. This is hard work in the blazing Liberian sun and we so are grateful for the support from the community in Sass Town and their willingness to take on this construction job. We still need $4,500 to completely finish the foundation, which we need to do as quickly as possible so that we can begin to farm some of the land.
