Thank you so much, if you are on this page, you have taken the first step in becoming a sponsor to our third charity event of the 2018 club year, AWCD Charity Casino Royale Evening.

We thank you so much in helping us to raise much needed funds for the AWCD Charity Fund, by making a monetary donation.

100% of donations will go to the FAWCO Target Project : Hope Beyond Displacement.   FAWCO is the mother organization of the AWCD.

INTRODUCTION TO FAWCO, THE FAWCO FOUNDATION AND THE TARGET PROGRAM FAWCO The FAWCO Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was created in 1967 as a dedicated financial steward for FAWCO Member Clubs to support FAWCO’s commitment to global initiatives. As a recognized United Nations NGO with special consultative status on ECOSOC (UN Economic and Social Council), we enable our members to coordinate, collaborate and participate in making positive social change.

Hope Beyond Displacement

Collateral Repair Project, (CRP), is thrilled to be the 2017-2019 FAWCO Target Project grant recipient!  Since 2006 our Family Resource and Community Center is a haven, in Jordan’s Hashemi Shamali neighborhood, where refugee families can access programs that help them learn, re-build the communities they’ve lost due to war and conflict, and heal from trauma.
FAWCO funding will make an extraordinary difference in CRP’s ability to increase our reach to women and girls through targeted programming that addresses their most pressing needs. At the heart of the project is getting girls into the classroom.  FAWCO will enable us to get 100 girls into school each year and will ensure that these girls won’t be without the foundational literacy and numeracy skills they need. Hope Beyond Repair is designed to address the pressing issues identified in close consultation with the women they serve; to build better futures through education, vocational and leadership training for refugee women and girls in Jordan. Click Here for a 10-minute introduction by Amanda Lane, Executive Director of CRP to their work and the impact FAWCO support will have on those they serve and for additional information.
