Einladung zur Mitgliederversammlung/Arbeitstreffen
am Sa. 28.03.15

im The Clearing Barrel
Liebe Mitglieder und UnterstützerInnen
hiermit möchten wir euch zur Mitgliederversammlung bzw. zum Arbeitstreffen des Military Counseling Network e.V. einladen.
Außerdem begehen wir am 28.3.15 den 3. Geburtstag des
The Clearing Barrel.
Warum ein Arbeitstreffen?
Die vielfältigen Aufgaben des Vereins, Spendensammlung, Beratung, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, aber auch vor allem die politische Arbeit und organisation braucht mehr Unterstützung.
Die Finanzielle Lage ist extrem schwierig und so nicht alleine zu bewältigen.
Das The Clearing Barrel hat sich in den letzten 3 Jahren zu einem Treffpunkt und Veranstaltungsort entwickelt, der weit mehr ist als „nur“ ein GI-Café und hat offensichtlich auch hier vor Ort für viele unterschiedlichen Gruppen eine Lücke getroffen.
Wir möchten zu dieser Mitgliederversammlung daher auch alle Einzelpersonen und Gruppen einladen,
- die das The Clearing Barrel als Treffpunkt und Ort für politische und kulturelle Veranstaltungen nutzen
- die die Arbeit des MCN in den letzten 12 Jahren immer wieder unterstützt haben
- die die Notwendigkeit sehen diese Arbeit weiter auszubauen
- die sich organisatorisch auch mit eigenen Ideen einbringen oder dies zukünftig gerne mehr tun würden
um gemeinsam praktische Ideen zu erarbeiten, wie wir diese wichtige Arbeit und auch das The Clearing Barrel als vielfälltig genutzten Ort aufrecht erhalten können.
Um das Café aufrecht zu erhalten brauchen wir auch dringend finanzielle Unterstützung. Bitte bringt eure Ideen mit, überlegt euch ob ihr eine Patenschaft übernehmen, Fördermitglied werden, oder euch ehrenamtlich im Café einbringen könnt.
In Gesprächen mit UnterstützerInnen gab es z.B. schon ein paar Ideen zu Fundraising, diese möchten wir gerne konkretisieren.

Dear members and supporters,
We would like to invite you to our members and/or working meeting of the GI Café and Military Counseling Network e.V.
In addition we will be celebrating on March 28, 2015 the 3rd birthday of the
The Clearing Barrel.
Why a Working Meeting?
--The many sided activities of our organization, such as contribution campaigns and collection, advising, publicity, especially political activity and organization, need more support.
--The extremely difficult and seemingly unsolvable financial situation requires outside help.
--In the last three years "The Clearing Barrel" has developed into a meeting place and event center--much more than "just" a café. This venue has fulfilled the needs of a great diversity of individuals and groups.
As a result, we would like to invite the following individuals and organizations to our members meeting:
those who in the last 12 years continually supported the activities of the MCN;
those who recognize the necessity of our work;
those who use The Clearing Barrel as as a meeting place and venue for political and cultural activities;
those who wish to participate in the organization, whether currently or at a later time.
Together we could develop practical ideas, facilitating methods for practicing and sustaining our important work in and around the "Clearing Barrel" as a multi-purpose venue.
In order to maintain the GI-Café, we urgently need financial support. Please bring your ideas with you, consider becoming a sponsor or supporting member, or even contributing your voluntary assistance in the café.
For instance, in discussion with supporters, we have developed ideas for fund raising, which we would like to develop in practical detail.
