The next two Water Plants were opened up at the Sigiriya School and the Sigiriya Rock

Opening ceremony of the purified Water Filter System (Reverse Osmosis Plant) at the Western Entrance of the Sigiriya Rock. This will supply 10,000 liters of filtered water every day to quench the thirst of people working at the Sigiriya Rock and thousands of tourists visiting Sigiriya every day, free of charge. 

Furthermore we could open another water plant at Sigiriya Maha Vidyalaya. This will supply a school of 1,200 students and approx. 450 families in Sigiriya with 10,000 liters of filtered water per day. This water filter plant was made possible by donations from Germany and Switzerland.
