Welcome to the “Center of Jamaican Culture & Development gUG”!
The NGO “Center of Jamaican Culture & Development gUG” is based upon four elements entertainment, production, education and training to help providing better living conditions for the suffering people of Jamaica.
It is our moral obligation and responsibility as a member of the global family to help prevent that mothers who breastfeed their children go to bed without food to eat and make it possible that children from poor families can attend school. To open the doors of opportunity for them, so that they can be able to take their rightful place in the civilized 21st century.
We at the “C.o. J. C. & D.” are coming up with substantial projects which will help to create jobs for the Jamaican people, especially for those who have to search garbage dump to survive.
We all are witnessing that across the board from Jamaica to Africa poverty is on the increase. That is why we at the “C.o. J. C. & D.” are trying to get our element projects active to fulfill our mission because as we all know each day people are dying who could be saved by a cup of water and a slice of bread.
For an example, on Saturday the 8th of July 2017 we have put on a benefit concert at the “Julius-Leber-Haus” (AWO) in Essen to collect donations for building a post office in Cheesefield District, Jamaica, because some of the people who live in the areas have to walk over 8 miles to “Linstead Postst Office” for their letters and that is very hard for the elder ones.
From the Benefit Concert for Jamaica we have gained 1.000 Euro for the Post Office project. 17,000 Euro are required to complete the project, so we lack 16, 000 Euro but with your donation, sponsors and support we can get this project funded within a short time.
We are looking forward to welcome you all at our next charity event at the “Julius-Leber-Haus” (AWO) in Essen in December 2017.

You For Jamaica
