¡Hola! My name is Klaas Janowsky and after school, I will be in Nicaragua for one year, a country in Central America.
I was born in Allagen, a village near the town Warstein in the region Sauerland
(Western Germany). I grew up and visited school here. After my A-levels in July '17 I want to do something totally different and not directly go from school to university.
See the world, I thought. Leave my home country, see a new culture, a new country and meet new people and, at the same time, help people whose situation is much worse than the one I know from my life. So I decided to do a voluntary service with the Welthaus Bielefeld e.V. in Nicaragua.
In august 2017, my journey will begin. One year Nicaragua. But what will I do there? Well, I will help in the Movimiento Comunal Nicaragüense
- an organization that fights for human rights and equality and against poverty, violence and Machismo. A little school is also attached to the project.
I will work and live in Somoto,
a little town in northern Nicaragua.
For me, it is very important to provide human rights, freedom and dignity to everyone everywhere and tehrefore I will spend twelve months in Nicaragua. Every donation helps to achieve that goal. Do you help?
¡Gracias! Thank you!
Soon, a link of my blog will follow to keep you up to date with everything I experience!
