We need your help to create a sustainable learning center and community in the poorest region of rural Thailand.
The Mindfulness Project is located in Isaan, the most drought ridden part of Thailand where 98% of the forest has already been destroyed. We aim to restore healthy biodiversity in our community in order to secure access to food and water for local people, while practicing sustainable living with international volunteers.
Urbanization, the erosion of topsoil, drought, and the breaking up of community structures have lead to widespread bankruptcy and people often need to leave the fields to work in factory conditions or even prostitution to get by.
The Mindfulness Project is a radical new approach for healing our hearts, the environment, and our relationships with each other. Thousands of people around the world have already experienced deep personal transformation by participating in the Mindfulness Project program. We have been so successful that a local nurse has now offered us 10 acres of land to take it to the next level.

The learning center will be an innovative model that combines organic Thai farming techniques with permaculture and natural building practices that are affordable and easy for for locals and international learners to apply.
In four years we have inspired over 4000 volunteers to become leaders for positive change, teaching them the principles of selfless giving, acceptance, and deep sustainability. With a small team we have had a huge impact in our local community helping organic farmers, disadvantaged schools, and orphanages and now donating an adobe brick home to a family. But we can’t grow without your support! We are completely run by passionate volunteers so 100% of your donation will go to providing essential machinery and infrastructure to support our project.
The future of the project starts now. To build the amount of modern earthen buildings needed with the newest sustainable techniques we need the right machinery and infrastructure. We have the expertise, we have the local partnerships, and we have the people to do it -- all we need now is you!
Thank you for making this possible!
