German courses for everyone in Leipzig. Support us with your donation!

Leipzig, Germany

We are convinced: Knowledge of German is the most important thing for successful integration. In order to realize language courses, we need donations. These are used for materials such as forms, exercise books, books and study books.

About this project

Willkommen in Leipzig - German for everyone

We are convinced: Knowledge of German is the most important thing for successful integration.

Volunteers from Leipzig have been committed to helping people with a migration background since 2015. Every day we offer the opportunity to learn and practice German in our open language courses. Our on-site courses at Deutsche Platz / Alte Messe and in the VILLA are flanked by online workshops. The courses are open. You can take part at any time. Every week 90 volunteers get involved in 30 courses, which are used by around 200 people. Since the beginning of our project, over 20,000 participants have used our courses. The demand is still great.

With a donation you can help us to finance the necessary materials (such as forms, copies, exercise books, books, study books and pens). Public funding is only available for courses that work continuously with a fixed group for a longer period of time. In reality, however, it looks different. Participants: move, take on a permanent apprenticeship or job and volunteers (often students) do not always find the time for the courses in everyday life.
