Give Children Quality Education by Accommodating Teachers
It is estimated that the conflict of political tension, past misrule and public mismanagement of schools properties in Uganda and Nyansozi Primary School in particular, left almost all Nyansozi Primary School building infrastructure in shambos. The school premises at one time acted as the army detach. There was a lot of looting and destruction of school property and the only teachers house which existed was destroyed by the earthquake that hit the area in 1980.The Government of Uganda spends about 30% of the National budget on Education Sector. Over 65% of these funds is invested in the primary Education sub sector to run the Universal Primary Education UPE. Despite the heavy investment in the sub sector it is quite amazing to note that teachers are not accommodated by the schools in which they teach. This has greatly affected teachers preparation, syllabus coverage, making and using instructional materials which again has compromised the learning interests of the learners and inevitably eroded the quality of education under the UPE Programme.
Having realized all that, the school came up with the Teachers Accommodation Project if funded pupils will receive teachers attention and quality education will be provided to the learners.
