On my way to Kasese i visited the project site at the time when schools were about to end the term around 27-11-2009 .The project is about10 kilometers from Fort-Portal Town and 500 meters from the main road leading to Kasese town..There is hardly any permanent source of income from the community around this project. , The houses neighboring the project site are of poor peasants who earn their livelihood from petty trade and cultivation. The project manager is a man of integrity and a head teacher of the school who runs the project on behalf of the school .The school has a board of trustees which helps the headteacher to fund raise for the project, and on top of that there is also a management committee which is a legal body to help in the management of the project. The man responsible for this project is called James Muzahura..I saw the bricks which were around 20000, the iron sheets of gauge 28 in the school store. .The project manager is a man of experience who has been serving in this school since 2005 .He is one of the founders and the promoter of this project .He has even more responsibility in other community based organizations where he serves after school hours on a voluntary basis. He has been teaching since 1981 so he looks determined to see the project succeed .I saw and talked to teachers who were working very hard to promote the schools academic standards regardless of the lack of accommodation at school ,i even met the parents of the school whom i found in the meeting at the close of the term who were very determined to support this project. The school is one of the best performing schools in the region but iit does not house teachers at all.More and better results would be expected if teachers resided at school this was one of the parents comments

This project is very good because teachers are working very hard in order our children to pass exams very well and then some teachers are coming from far places when they reach at school when tired so it becomes very difficulty for them to teach. I know is man who started this project is a hard working man, so he started this project in looking for the supporters to support the project by accommodating teachers. thanks.
