Sicher im Kiez wins Integation prize from Initiative Hauptstadt Berlin

Hi freinds of Boxgirls,

So much to report. Most recently we won a special prize from Initiative Hauptstadt Berlin for our school programme Sicher im Kiez. In addition we were profiled again by ZDF in their Menschen show, see the ZDF mediathek and I was interviewed for an hour by Deutsche Welle  on Insight Germany.  Sicher im Kiez has also received more funding from the Integration durch Sport, being one of the leading projects in Berlin.

We still need donations to help us reach out to more blocks of schools in Berlin.  We are also looking for volunteers with experience working with children who are prepared to go through background checks and a training programme.
