Helpbus brings refugees from 🇺🇦 to 🇩🇪

With the invasion of Russia and Ukraine, people began to flee war, suffering and destruction and leave the country. Often without a destination and safe shelter, refugees arrive and cross the borders towards Central Europe and then get stuck there.  The majority are women and children who have to hold out there in temperatures as low as -10 degrees, exhausted and completely overtired, sometimes even without shelter. 

We - Helpbus - have the possibility to access a huge network of buses and use them to evacuate and transport the people, to bring them to safety and to accommodate them in cooperation with municipalities and associations in the different countries of Europe. 

Currently a bus costs us about 2€/kilometer, which for a regular to the border and further to Berlin costs about 3000€ per trip, which we have to raise. We have been on-site at the border crossings since the beginning. We get feedback from all sides there that what we are doing is the solution to create a certain order and reliability at the crossings and in the reception centers. 

But to do that, we need buses. Buses that first have to be completely pre-financed. Every donation helps to get more buses to the borders and to enable more people to continue their journey in safety. Donate now
